It is exploring/advocating the idea of a small air-launched rocket to get to an orbiting spinning tether. I think this approach could get very low costs to orbit (maybe 20 times cheaper than current) and that it is something that could really be done. On the site I have a tether simulator that I just wrote. It is a Java applet, so you can easily see some examples, or run your own simulations. I hope to get at least a couple users for my software. Oh, and it is free and you can copy the source if you want. I am looking for any feedback on the ideas/info/web-site/simulator either to the group or by email.
