My simulator applet at http://spacetethers.com/spacetethers.html
did not work on at least some Microsoft java runtime environments
that came with Internet Explorer.  It seems it was fine for any
of 4 Sun versions of Java (1.1 to 1.4).  Now it also works on at 
least some version of Microsoft Java.  There might only be one 
Microsoft version of Java (it does not have a number).

If you try it now and it does not work please send me an email 
with "Tether Simulator" in the subject and saying what 
names and versions of OS, Browser, and Java you are using 
(or as much as you can tell me).
